REPIC works with Crest and Conwy County Borough Council to help correctly recycle white goods and small WEEE that are beyond repair.

Crest, a charity based in North Wales collects large household appliances on behalf of the council, taking the waste electricals in for repair and reuse.

Locals, previously unemployed, are trained to help repair these items which are then sold or passed on to disadvantaged individuals. The money raised from the sale of the goods and the contract with REPIC helps maintain Crest as a self-sustaining charity.

To ensure the electrical products that are beyond repair are recycled correctly and avoid landfill, REPIC collects these unrepairable items and ensures they are treated at an approved treatment facility.

This partnership helps both disabled and unemployed locals increase their skills and gain employment in their local community.

It also provides locals with access to affordable electricals.
